Harrogate Town Centre

Harrogate's central shopping runs along James Street, Cambridge Street, Oxford Street and Parliament Street, mixing national names with a decent survival rate of independents.

James Street is the smartest of them, and the covered Westminster Arcade is worth a look for the building as much as the shops.

Everything is within a compact, largely flat area, and the centre connects directly to Montpellier in one direction and the Convention Centre in the other. Sunday hours are shorter than weekdays.
