Hotel du Vin occupies eight Georgian houses on Prospect Place, looking out over The Stray, and it uses that setting well — the interiors keep the period bones and add the group's familiar wine-cellar aesthetic.

The bistro and bar are a large part of the appeal and are used by locals as much as guests, particularly for the courtyard in summer.
