Things to Do With Kids in Harrogate
From adventure parks and farm days to playgrounds, rowing boats, reservoirs and brilliant outdoor spaces, discover the best things to do with kids in and around Harrogate.
Attractions
Victorian Turkish baths on Parliament Street, still working, still tiled floor to ceiling.

Harrogate's Turkish Baths opened in 1897 and remain one of very few Victorian baths in Britain still operating as originally intended.
The interior is the reason to go: Islamic-influenced arches, painted ceilings, terrazzo floors and glazed brickwork in colours that no modern spa would attempt. The circuit runs through steam room, hot rooms of increasing temperature, plunge pool and a relaxation room.
It is a genuine piece of the town's spa history rather than a heritage display, and it is popular enough that sessions book up well ahead — particularly weekends. Sessions are timed and some are single-sex, so check the current timetable before travelling.
