Silver Fox
Silver Fox is one of the newer names on Harrogate's brunch scene, but the location at No.1 Royal Parade will be familiar to plenty of locals.
It took over the former Hoxton North site in April 2026, retaining the existing team and chef while introducing a new identity built around coffee, brunch and a relaxed social feel.
The menu ranges from full breakfasts and eggs on sourdough to more indulgent French toast and signature brunch plates. Its position opposite the Montpellier Quarter and close to Valley Gardens also makes it particularly well placed for visitors exploring this part of Harrogate.

Crema Coffee
Just a couple of doors away on Royal Parade, Crema Coffee combines speciality coffee with a proper breakfast and brunch offering.
Coffee is taken seriously — it works with Divine Coffee Roasters — while the food makes this somewhere to stay rather than simply collect a takeaway cup. It's also proudly dog-friendly, which is particularly useful given its location close to Valley Gardens and the Pinewoods.
If the plan involves coffee, brunch and then a walk through one of Harrogate's best green spaces, Crema is very well positioned.

Nomad Café & Deli
For something a little less predictable, Nomad Café & Deli on Beulah Street brings a more international flavour to brunch.

Bettys Café Tea Rooms
You can't really write about breakfast in Harrogate without mentioning Bettys.
It isn't the newest or most hidden discovery on this list, but that's rather missing the point. Bettys has been part of Harrogate since 1919 and remains one of the places visitors specifically come to town to experience.
Breakfast also reveals more of its Swiss heritage than you might expect, with rösti appearing alongside British breakfast dishes, eggs and some of the more indulgent options you'd expect from Bettys.

Fodder
A little outside the immediate town centre at the Great Yorkshire Showground, Fodder is worth knowing about if provenance matters to you.

This isn't really somewhere you stumble across while wandering around Parliament Street. It's somewhere worth heading to deliberately — particularly if a proper Yorkshire breakfast sounds more appealing than another city-centre brunch plate.

Overlooking The Stray, West Park Hotel provides a rather different brunch setting from Harrogate's independent cafés.

For something less conventional, Kismet and Nomad take breakfast in rather different directions.
Visitors looking for the classic Harrogate experience should still make time for Bettys, while Fodder is a particularly good option for anyone interested in Yorkshire produce.
And if the requirement is simply somewhere comfortable for a long, unhurried weekend brunch, West Park Hotel fits the brief nicely.
Make a morning of it
